Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home care in Brockton, MA. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work directly with patients in their homes.

The position includes competitive pay up to $160 per visit, mileage and licensure reimbursement, and a benefits package. Massachusetts SLP license and at least one year of clinical experience are required, with afternoon availability.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Assessing communication, speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities

• Educating patients and caregivers regarding communication strategies, swallowing safety, and compensatory techniques
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team
• Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation

Your Role as a Home Care Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with VRNS, you'll provide skilled speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing services directly in patients' homes. You'll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote functional communication, swallowing safety, independence, and quality of life.
