Job summary
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing home healthcare team in Dighton, Massachusetts. You will provide skilled services directly in patients' homes, collaborating with caregivers and care teams to improve communication, swallowing safety, and quality of life.

Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
- Afternoon availability
Responsibilities
- Assessing communication, speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Providing skilled speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing interventions
- Educating patients and caregivers regarding communication strategies, swallowing safety, and appropriate compensatory techniques
- Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other members of the care team
- Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation
