Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role you will help patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through evidence-based care and collaborative planning.

You will perform videofluoroscopic swallow studies, develop treatment programs in consultation with physicians, conduct bedside evaluations, and educate families to support learning goals.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, staff, physicians, and community.
• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license in Tennessee is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete videofluoroscopic swallow studies according to policy and procedure.
• Develop and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians.
• Treat patients in accordance with Speech/Language Pathology standards of care and practice.
• Perform evaluations such as bedside swallowing evaluations and communicate results to the healthcare team.
• Form teaching plans based on learning needs and include family as appropriate.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Speech Therapist (SLP), you'll help patients improve their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through skilled, evidence-based care. Your role is key in helping patients make progress and independence while working closely with a supportive, collaborative rehabilitation team. You'll have the opportunity to practice in a well-resourced, consistent environment that values your clinical judgement and protects your time through clear caseloads, streamlined workflows, and network-backed clinical collaboration.

What you will do in this role:

• You will complete video flouroscopic swallow studies according to policy and procedure in a safe manner


• You will develop and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians.


• You will treat patients in accordance with Speech/Language Pathology standards of care and practice.


• You will perform evaluations such as bedside swallowing evaluations, accurately, and communicate results timely to all appropriate members of the healthcare team.


• You will formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching as appropriate.

What qualifications you will need:

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology


• Current SLP license in state of Tennessee


• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment
