Job summary

Colonial Group in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy services, develop individualized treatment plans, and meet with clients regularly to adjust plans as needed.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, ND licensure and ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility, plus eligible for ASHA membership and a ND driver’s license. Full or part-time options with a Monday–Friday schedule and up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility.
• Current ND licensure for SLP and ASHA membership.
• ASHA membership and licensure requirements are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, develop and implement pediatric SLP therapy services.
• Create individualized treatment plans and meet clients regularly to adjust plans.
• Collaborate with ABA programming and coordinate with outside contract services.

Shift: Monday- Friday (8am - 5pm)

Job Schedule: Full or Part Time

Weekly Hours: Up to 40

JOB SUMMARY:

The Speech Language Pathologist assesses, plans, organizes, develops and implements pediatric speech language pathologist therapy services for individual clients and outside contract services. The Speech Language Pathologist will create individualized treatment plans according to the clients’ needs and circumstances. The Speech Language Pathologist will meet with clients on a regular basis to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

• Master’s degree from an ASHA accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language pathologist and ASHA certificate of clinical competence or CFY, or eligibility or evidence of application for licensure, is necessary.
• Have or be eligible for ASHA membership
• Valid North Dakota Driver’s License

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Three years’ experience in pediatric speech language pathology or work with intellectually/developmentally disabled population
• Knowledge of payment sources and systems related to SLP
• Experience collaborating with ABA programming
• One year experience with assistive technology

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
