Role Overview
Speech Language Pathologist position at CHI Saint Joseph Health (Berea, KY). Dedicated to clinical excellence in a critical access hospital.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and implement treatment plans for all referred patients.
- Contribute to the development and upgrade of treatment programs and protocols.
- Maintain effective communication regarding therapy programs and departmental issues.
- Complete all required documentation and maintain pertinent records to comply with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, and all other regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Organize job duties and responsibilities to be efficient and productive.
- Maintain equipment and environment in a safe and orderly manner.
- Commit to professional growth and competency.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited American Speech-Language-Hearing Association program.
- State licensure as SLP: KY.
- Certified as CCC-SLP.
- Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management skills and prior student or work experience in a rehabilitation setting.
Location
Saint Joseph Berea, a 25-bed critical access hospital located on the grounds of Berea College. Part of CommonSpirit Health system.
Pay Range
$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
