Rehab in Motion is expanding to Lawrenceville, GA
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist
- Employment Type: PRN
- Compensation: $45-$48/hour
- Location: Laurel Grove by Barclay House

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Re-assess treatment effectiveness regularly, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
- Conduct discharge evaluations, provide safety recommendations, and offer referral and education resources
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families
- Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in practice states
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions
- Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics, and/or home health
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with some tasks requiring lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to stand/walk for extended periods, including pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and positioning
