Job summary

Northern Oaks Living & Rehabilitation Center in Abilene, TX is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. CF-SLP welcome; SNF experience required.

The post-acute and geriatric outpatient programs provide diverse case mix and opportunities to impact patient recovery. The ideal candidate holds a Speech-Language Pathologist license and will deliver evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• CF-SLP welcome; SNF experience preferred.
• Experience delivering speech-language pathology services in post-acute or SNF settings.
• Ability to develop and adjust care plans per regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment consistent with regulatory and clinical standards.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services; refer as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and providers regarding speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries.

We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
