Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed language, articulation, voice, and fluency practice under supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Follow treatment plans designated by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Report and document student performance to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Meet with the supervising speech language pathologist as directed by state guidelines to discuss progress and directions.
• Work collaboratively with licensed staff, LEA teachers, and other professionals.
• Manage student behavior during facilitated sessions.
• Communicate scheduling with school staff.
• Prepare materials for sessions under direction of licensed professional.
• Set up and troubleshoot telepractice sessions; ensure safety during virtual sessions.
