Job summary

The McCarton Foundation in New York is seeking Speech Clinical Fellows to join our nonprofit team. This role offers hands-on treatment for young children with autism, guided by experienced clinicians, in a supportive environment that fosters growth and professional development.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, document sessions and progress, and grow toward NYS licensing and ASHA requirements under supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SLP or CSD required.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on speech therapy to children aged 2-3 under supervision of a Clinical Fellow Supervisor.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and evaluations.
• Support professional development and mentorship.

What You’ll Do

• Direct Care: Provide hands-on treatment to children with autism aged 2-3 under the guidance of a Clinical Fellow Supervisor.
• Collaborate: Work with a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
• Document Sessions: Accurately record treatment sessions, progress notes, and evaluations.
• Grow: Enhance your skills in a dynamic setting, with opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
• Get Licensed: Complete NYS regulation and ASHA requirements of supervised experience

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Passion for working with young children
• Adaptable and eager to learn
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Salary And Benefits

• Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
• Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, full-time, 12-month position.
