Developmental Therapy Services of Sacramento is looking for dynamic, collaborative, and engaging SLPs to join our team! We are a Sacramento clinic specializing in pediatric Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy. We provide clinic-based services and contract services to local school districts. Caseloads can be school-based, clinical, or a combination of both and will be decided with you based on your preferences and our needs! We also offer opportunity, mentoring, and training to specialize in pediatric feeding (clinical) and/or augmentative and alternative communication (clinical and school-based). If you are seeking a CF placement, you will be matched with one of our experienced SLPs based on supervision needs, placement, and interest in specific populations.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift
Pay Range: $78,000 to $124,800 with a signing bonus upon signing of offer letter
- Total compensation package range $86,225 - $137,885 annually
- Includes health benefits, 9 paid holidays, CEU days, reimbursement of renewal for ASHA CCC, vacation, sick time, 1 day of jury duty leave, monthly phone stipend
- Does not include potential compensation from IRA matching, incentive program, SLPA supervision incentive, registration fees for classes/courses/certification or mileage reimbursement

Roles & Responsibilities
- Roles and responsibilities will vary based on setting and assignment.
- School-based may include but are not limited to: assessment and provision of services as outlined in IEP, collaboration with other professionals and families, caseload management, supervision of SLPA (if qualified), service tracking/required billing, data collection, IEP attendance,
- Clinic-based may include but are not limited to: assessment, report writing, provision of therapeutic services, data collection, necessary record keeping, insurance/billing, parent/caretaker training, and SLPA supervision (if qualified)
- AAC Specialty may include but is not limited to: clinical-based assessment for insurance funding of AAC devices, school-based participation on a district wide AAC team focusing on assessment, implementation, and training.
- Feeding Specialty
- SLPA supervision is available to SLPs who meet qualification and are interested
- Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings when needed

- Provide at minimum 16 hours of CEU/PDHs per year employed

- Provide registration fees for one conference per year employed (examples: ASHA, CSHA, AAC conference/Feeding conference/SOS)
- Provision of experienced and enthusiastic CF Supervision for CF candidate
- Reimbursement for ASHA CCC renewal
- Pay increase upon the successful completion of CF year
- SLPs interested in supervising an SLPA will be provided required CEU/PDHs and a stipend for supervision
ADA Requirements: Ability to navigate between worksites
Education/Credential/Licenses: Successful completion of:
- Completion of an accredited Masters program in Speech Pathology including the successful passing of the Praxis Examination (within CFY)
- California Speech and language Pathology License
- American Speech and Hearing Association Clinical Competency Certification (ASHA-CCC) optional
- Possession of a valid CA driver’s License (If you travel between work sites)
