Circle Center Grade School and Yorkville Early Childhood Center
Assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language therapy services for students with communication disorders, including technical assistance with equipment required for accommodating disabilities or required supports.
The Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant will
Associate's degree from college, 60 credits in related program; or
A minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or
An aggregate combination of experience and education in the field.
An SLPA license.
Ability to read and understand plans for services as written in student treatment and support plan.
Ability to communicate and record via routine required reports, records and correspondence.
Able to read and interpret documents including safety requirements, instructions for operating and maintaining equipment, and procedural instructions or manuals.
Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and follow accordingly.
