Job summary

Oyster River Cooperative School District seeks a full-time Speech and Language Assistant to support students' communication goals within our district offices and classrooms. The role requires NH SLA license and a relevant degree, with experience in educational or healthcare settings.

You will collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families, employing therapy techniques and scheduling tools to track progress and manage caseloads.

Qualifications

• Must have B.S. or associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Communications Disorders as required by the governing board.
• SLA License required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; familiarity with speech therapy techniques and tools.
• Basic understanding of child development or communication sciences; proficiency with therapy and office software; strong organizational and time management skills.

Opening for a Speech and Language Assistant

The district is seeking full-time speech and language assistant. Must have a current license and certification through NH Office of Professional Licensure and Certification.

Qualifications

B.S. or associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Communications Disorders as required by the Speech Language Pathology and Hearing Care Providers Governing Board. SLA License required. Experience working in educational or healthcare setting, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, familiarity with speech therapy techniques and tools, basic understanding of child development or communication sciences, proficiency in using therapy and office related software, strong organizational and time management skills.
