Job summary

Tutor Me Education LLC in Beaumont, CA is hiring for in-home, one-on-one tutoring with special education experience. You’ll deliver tailored instruction based on IEP goals and provide daily activities support in students’ homes.

Ideal candidates have a teaching credential and ASD/ADHD experience; RBT certification is a plus. Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with about 20 hours per month and a flexible schedule to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with ASD and ADHD is strongly preferred.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience providing individualized instruction based on a student’s current learning needs.
• Patient, engaging, and able to build rapport with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in foundational literacy, including phonics and reading comprehension.
• Support foundational math skills, including basic operations and problem-solving.
• Assist with homework and reinforce concepts taught at school.
• Adapt lesson plans to the student’s current learning level (approx. 1st-grade math, 3rd-grade literacy).
• Use clear directions, visual aids, and structured routines to support engagement.
• Implement positive behavior strategies and movement breaks to maintain focus.
• Collaborate with family and align with IEP goals.

About the Role:

As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Beaumont, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Beaumont, CA
• Schedule: 20 hours a month, 2 sessions a week for 1.5-2 hours
• Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

• An active teaching credential is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is strongly preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience providing individualized instruction based on a studentâs current academic performance and learning needs.
• Patient, engaging, and encouraging, with the ability to build rapport and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Skilled in using visual supports, structured routines, hands-on activities, movement breaks, and positive behavior support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction in foundational literacy, including phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and writing.
• Support foundational math skills, including number sense, basic operations, and problem-solving.
• Assist with homework and reinforce academic concepts and skills taught at school.
• Adapt lesson plans to the student's current learning levels, approximately 1st-grade math and 3rd-grade literacy, rather than his enrolled 4th-grade level.
• Use clear, concise directions, visual aids, and structured routines to support understanding and engagement.
• Implement positive reinforcement and appropriate behavior support strategies when student becomes frustrated or overwhelmed.
• Incorporate hands-on learning activities and movement breaks to maintain attention and motivation.
• Collaborate with the family and follow the studentâs IEP goals and individualized learning needs.
