Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Current New Mexico license or eligibility to obtain license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates teaching program with site-based goals and district objectives.
• Instructs students in motor, language, socio-emotional and cognitive development.
• Ensures IEP goals are completed.
• Assists students with needs such as feeding, mobility, bathroom tasks, diapering, bathing.
• Plans and directs instruction activities for educational assistants.
• Delivers instruction in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Maintains communication with staff and teachers about student progress.
