Job summary

Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is seeking a K-12 Certified Special Education Teacher in Chicago, IL. The candidate will create and implement IEPs for students, use modified curricula, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.

Strong candidates hold a Bachelor's in Special Education with an Illinois PEL/LBS1 endorsement. Independent contractor 1099 position with flexible schedule and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs tailored to student needs.
• Teach students using modified curriculum and adaptive techniques.
• Assess academic and behavioral growth; adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate with general ed teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Implement strategies for positive behavior and classroom management.
