SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S POSITION:
A special education teacher is a highly trained educator who provides individualized support and instruction to students with disabilities and special needs. They work to ensure these students can access the general education curriculum.

CLIENT'S LOCATION:
Position is located in Park Ridge, IL

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Developing and implementing IEPs, which outline a student's needs, goals, and specific services.
2. Individualized Instruction: Providing specialized instruction and support to meet a student's specific learning needs.
3. Collaboration: Working with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
4. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assessing students' progress and updating IEPs as needed.
5. Adapting Curriculum: Modifying the general education curriculum to make it accessible for students with disabilities.
6. Case Management: Overseeing student eligibility, IEPs, and learning progress.
7. Communication: Communicating regularly with families and other staff members.
