Wage is $23.92–$25.67/hr under the 2025-2027 Paraprofessional Contract. Must have a two-year degree or Parapro Assessment; PCA training is provided. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with diverse learners is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in devising strategies for reinforcing skills.
• Intercultural competence and support for diverse students.
• Understand students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Guide independent study, enrichment and remedial work set by teachers.
• Assist with large group activities such as reading aloud and field trips.
• Assist and supervise wash-up and toilet routines including lifting and transferring students.
• Assist and supervise students to/from bus and within the building.
• Carry out behavior management techniques as instructed by the teacher.
• Complete clerical tasks related to students.
• Other duties as assigned.
