Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Gracemor Elementary School. The ideal candidate will assist in the supervision and instruction of special needs students, support their learning and emotional needs, and maintain classroom materials and records.

This role requires a minimum of a High School diploma and ideally a Missouri Teaching Certificate. It is an engaging position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in students' lives.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a variety of manuals and present information.
• Knowledge of instructional procedures and practices.
• Flexibility to work with diverse groups and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and instructing special needs students.
• Administer medical assistance and first aid as necessary.
• Maintain instructional materials and records.
• Evaluate students' progress and implement IEP objectives.
