Job SummaryA Motor Aide is expected to carry out a variety of programs developed by an Occupation Therapist (OT) and/or a Physical Therapist (PT). The therapy programs support students in accessing their regular or special education. Their job is to help students practice and learn skills to reach goals and generalize them into the school setting. The GSP works under the general supervision and direction of the OT/PT. Attendance and physical presence are required and is an essential function of this position. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.

Non-Essential FunctionsRequired Education and Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent

Working EnvironmentWork setting is mainly in the classroom setting. May be asked to work inside and outside the building to accomplish assigned tasks. Working conditions can be in hot and cold weather. May experience stress from disruptive students and/or groups of students. May be required to drive in adverse conditions.
