Job summary

Study Smart in Georgia seeks tutors to support K-12 students in Math and ELA with in-person sessions.

You will adapt materials, track progress, and share strategies with the Education team to bolster student success. A 4-year degree and experience with Special Education are required; Spanish is a plus, with fingerprinting/background checks as part of the process.

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math and ELA
• Grades: K-12th
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• MUST have experience with Special Education learning
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• Seeking availability Mondays through Fridays from during/afterschool hours.
• In-person availability is required
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Salary And Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour
