Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the teacher with planning, organizing, and evaluating instructional activities.
• Assists students to increase confidence, self-esteem and independence.
• Attends to students' physical and personal care needs.
• Supports students who have difficulty communicating with others.
• Facilitates social activities and collaborates with therapists and teachers.
• Maintains confidentiality and models professional behavior.
• Participates in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
