Job summary

The role entails instructional and behavioral support for students with disabilities, record-keeping, and collaboration with the Principal. Responsibilities include implementing RISE elements, behavior strategies, confidentiality, and CPI certification; Title I campus qualifications may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum clerical skills required.
• Ability to communicate and work with students with disabilities.
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff and students.
• Ability to work with confidential material and student records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing all elements of the RISE program.
• Maintain accurate records of students in the RISE program.
• Assist in implementing behavior management strategies.
• Assist in maintaining student records and progress charts.
• Provide re-orientation and instruction to students in the RISE classroom.
• Monitor student behaviors.
• Obtain and maintain CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification.
• Perform SHARS duties as assigned.
• Provide personal care as identified in student IEPs.
