Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized alien as required by Louisiana standards.
• 172 days of employment, or as stated in contract or employment agreement.
• Experience or familiarity with TAP Teaching Skills, Knowledge, and Responsibilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• administers the classroom under the direction of the principal or evaluator in accordance with School Board policies; oversees instruction, supervision, classroom management, student assessment and communication.
• fulfills duties related to instruction, supervision, student evaluation and extracurricular involvement.
• collaborates with staff to ensure alignment with state and district standards and accountability measures.
• participates in TAP rubric processes and maintains documentation of student progress.
• attends meetings, trainings, and other professional responsibilities as required.
