DREAM is seeking a Spectator Support Staff for per diem athletics events in New York City. You will help with security and logistics, coordinate with schools and security teams, and ensure safe, orderly events for students and families.
Responsibilities include managing spectators during games, addressing inappropriate behavior, and upholding DREAM’s mission and policies. Per diem shifts are 3.5–4 hours, typically in late afternoons or Saturdays.
Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. Reporting to the Athletics, Health, and Wellness Manager, the Spectator Support Staff will be responsible for the security and logistics of Athletics Events at DREAM.
This role will work at multiple DREAM locations: 20 Bruckner Boulevard, Bronx, NY and 1991 2nd Avenue, New York, NY
DREAM offers competitive compensation commensurate with relevant experience with the potential for a seasonal increase. The rate for this position for incoming staff is between $22 and $25 per hour, which is based on eligible experience.
This role is eligible for annual compensation increases, in accordance with DREAM’s compensation practices.
