Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Specimen Technician I in Irving, TX. The role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 1:30 AM to 10:00 AM with rotational weekends.

The position offers a starting pay of $17.20+ per hour, with potential shift differentials of 10% for some second-shift hours and 15% for some third-shift hours. A bonus program may be available based on performance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• No experience required; production or medical background preferred.
• Night shift work with weekends/on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of test orders and presort.
• Pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory.
• Centrifugation and aliquoting of specimens.
• Process specimens for outbound testing to other facilities.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Identify problems related to specimens and missing information.
