Position Summary: The Specimen Technician I is responsible for supporting key functions within the Specimen Processing Department. This position plays a vital role in maintaining specimen integrity and ensuring timely delivery of samples to the laboratory. Duties may include presorting, aliquoting, centrifugation, imaging, microfilming, and specimen transport. This is a full-time role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and the flexibility to adapt to daily operational changes. The work environment emphasizes productivity, quality, and adherence to safety and compliance procedures.
