East Side Clinical Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a Specimen Processor in East Providence, RI. The role supports patient care by proper specimen processing and storage, with duties including routing and quality control in a lab setting.

The position is part-time (25 hours weekly) with evenings (Mon-Fri, plus rotating Saturdays) and benefits eligible. Training on PHI confidentiality and safety standards is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including centrifuges and PPE equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens correctly and ensure proper routing and storage.
• Identify when corrective actions are needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with PPE requirements to maintain safety and quality.

East Side Clinical Laboratory, a leader in the medical laboratory industry,is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our Specimen Processing Team because we are growing!

Location: 10 Risho Ave. East Providence, RI
Days: Mon-Fri, + rotating Saturdays
Hours: 7:00 pm - 12:00 am
Part Time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
