Job summary

Labcorp in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Specimen Processor to receive, sort and prepare clinical lab specimens for testing in a fast-paced production environment. The role supports accurate data entry and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires basic computer skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team. Schedule is Monday–Friday 3:00am–11:30am with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.
