Job Title: Specimen Processor

Location: Framingham, MA

Hours/Schedule: 1st Shift (Full time or Part Time)

Type: 6 monthContract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Hourly rate: $20.00



Overview:

A top ranked reference laboratory is seeking a Patient Sample Processor to enter all patient demographic and testing information into the laboratory information system and prepares patient blood samples for the analytical phase.

Responsibilities:




  • Perform accurate data entry of patient information and test orders.
  • Handle and verify patient blood samples for labeling, type, and stability.
  • Identify and flag discrepancies impacting testing or reporting.
  • Pipette blood samples into aliquots and operate automated aliquoting equipment.
  • Archive samples and organize batches for testing or send-out.
  • Assist with scanning requisitions, troubleshooting orders, and organizing storage.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with lab associates to complete tasks efficiently.



    Requirements:
