Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a part-time Specimen Processing Technician II to ensure quality assurance for patient specimens on-site at Chestnut Hill. Responsibilities include processing and distributing samples, training new team members, and providing accurate information to clinical staff regarding lab tests and results.
This role requires a high school diploma, preferably with additional education in physical sciences, and 1+ years of healthcare or laboratory experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The Specimen Processing Technician II processes, distributes, and provides quality assurance for all patient specimens. Supplies accurate information to providers and other clinical staff regarding laboratory testing, test requirements and patient results. The Specimen Processing Technician II participates in training new team members. This position’s work location is 100% on-site, part-time on campus at the Chestnut Hill location.

Pay Transparency Statement
The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
