Job summary

Allied Health Professional / Technician onsite contract role begins 9/21/2026. The SPT I performs specimen processing tasks including A-station, presort, and delivery to the lab, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in a production biohazard environment.

Requires a data entry background, ability to learn compliance regulations that change daily, and flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Data entry background with high accuracy is expected.
• Medical terminology knowledge is a plus for clinical specimens.

Responsibilities

• Perform A-station, presort, and pickup/delivery of specimens.
• Handle imaging/microfilming, centrifugation and aliquoting.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and data accuracy in a biohazard setting.
