Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a detail-oriented lab support technician in Jackson, Mississippi. This part-time role involves ensuring specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored, with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work on the 2nd shift, handling routine lab tasks, operating general equipment, and maintaining accurate records. Prior specimen processing experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (phones, computers, centrifuges, alarms).

Responsabilidades

• Ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Identify when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
