• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Excel, Word and how to use Electronic Medical Records
• Experience with patient centered care
• Completely understand the healthcare privacy laws as outlined in HIPAA
• LGBTQ+ cultural competency
• Ability to work collaboratively in team-based care
• Ability to adapt to a work environment that is constantly changing and not always structured
• Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor

Responsibilities

• Prepare and aliquot incoming samples for reference lab testing
• Stock supply bins
• Troubleshoot Medical Assistant and Provider questions, escape to lab manager when appropriate
• Order entry for Quest Diagnostic samples
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces
• Monitor supply usage and inform lab manager if low on inventory
• Identify errors and communicate to lab manager for review
• Backup to client services and lab manager for incoming calls – direct calls to necessary parties
