Labcorp seeks a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join the team in Troy, MI. The role involves preparing specimens for analysis, unpacking and routing, accurate labeling, and proper packaging for transport. Data entry and attention to detail are essential as you work toward daily production targets.

Requirements include a high school diploma and, preferably, 1 year in a medical or production setting. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color vision test are required.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year or more of experience in a medical or production environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color blindness test.

Aufgaben

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
