Job Description - SPECIMEN PROCESSING SPECIALIST (40 hrs 1:00pm - 9:00pm)

Temple University Hospital is seeking a Specimen Processing Specialist to perform routine duties involved in the pre- and post-analytic portions of lab test processing. Responsibilities include drawing, collecting, and processing blood and other specimens from positively identified patients, managing patient and specimen information according to established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  2. 1 Year experience performing phlebotomy and specimen processing (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Classes in general sciences
