Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor in Chantilly, VA. The role supports daily department operations from Thursday to Monday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, ensuring quality, safety, and timely processing of specimens.

The supervisor leads staff, develops SOPs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and maintain compliance in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management experience preferred.
• Experience with laboratory or production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Specimen Processing department.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure safety, training, and competency of staff.
• Monitor quality and productivity, and drive process improvements.
• Manage scheduling and staffing for department.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Prepare monthly end reports and handle internal/external inquiries.
