Job Summary

Jobs in this group are typically responsible for managing and operating laboratory facilities used for research, teaching, or to assist in the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of disease. They ensure equipment maintenance, adhere to safety protocols, and support quality control.

These roles focus on performing a range of operational activities in support of laboratory testing, including managing lab equipment, ensuring proper safety protocols, and supporting research and experiments. Responsible for maintaining lab functionality and efficiency.

This role is being filled for the day/rotating shift. Final schedule arrangements are made at the discretion of the hiring manager and may be subject to change.

Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty spend the majority of their time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Specialty license or certification required, which is acquired through training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care areas.

Entry‑level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience and requires vocational or technical education. Work is routine or follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.

Physical Demands

Job requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); repetitive motion: computer data entry. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift, push, pull 20‑50 lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, heat, cold, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $17.25 - $28.47 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
