• 1+ year of experience as an Accessioning Technician or similar.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Receives specimens for testing.
• Performs quality assurance checks of incoming or outgoing samples.
• Returns slides and blocks to clients.
• Utilizes chain of custody logs for slides and blocks and maintains proper custody.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action.
• Follow procedures for specimen routing and handling; report missing blocks/slides and assist in recovery.
