Job summary

United WestLabs is hiring a dependable Specimen Courier to support patient care by ensuring timely pickup and transport of specimens, supplies, and equipment. You will serve as a primary contact for clients, delivering courteous service while following procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include routing, safe transport in company vehicles, prompt STAT pickups, and accurate documentation. Qualifications include a HS diploma and valid license; prior courier or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned routes and schedules to collect specimens from client locations at designated times.
• Transport specimens safely using a company provided vehicle, in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Respond promptly to STAT specimen pickup requests and ensure timely delivery.
• Complete supply deliveries and fulfill supply orders as assigned.
• Accurately document pickups, deliveries, route activities, and client interactions on route sheets and other required records.
• Maintain specimen integrity and confidentiality throughout transportation.
