Job summary

Precision Diagnostics, based in San Diego, CA, is seeking a TEMP Full-Time Specimen Collector in Omaha, NE (with Lincoln, NE location). The role demands meticulous specimen handling, adherence to SOPs, and compassionate patient interaction in a clinical laboratory setting.

The position requires a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background and MVR checks, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and Friday partial day. Compensation is $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance if operating a personal vehicle for work-related activities.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Background check.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Follow client-specific SOPs and company protocols.
• Verify and document patient demographic, identification, and insurance information.
• Collect, process, label, package, and ship laboratory specimens per procedures.
• Ensure specimen integrity via proper handling, storage, and transport.
• Enter orders and maintain accurate specimen and patient documentation.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare regulations.
• Provide professional, courteous support to patients during specimen collection.
• Maintain accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Monitor supplies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, providers, and clients to support operations.
