Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program seeks a Specimen Collections Technician for its part-time schedule. Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling intakes, and collecting urine samples while maintaining a confidential, ethical work environment.
Eligible applicants must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team. Training will be provided for specimen collection and program procedures. This grant-funded role may require weekend coverage.
Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program is looking for a Specimen Collections Technician. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive person that is reliable, self- motivated, and willing to be a team player.
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting urine and oral fluid (saliva) samples in accordance with our program’s testing requirements.
Due to the nature of the position, including observation of intimate areas for male participants, we are only seeking interested MALE applicants for this position at this time.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Work hours will be Monday 11:30am-1:30pm & 4:00pm-6:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 11:30am-1:30pm and Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm & 4:00pm-6:00pm, up to 16 hours per week. Work hoursinclude weekends and holidays. Must be available over the holiday break.
**This is a grant-funded position. If the program loses grant funding, then this position will be discontinued.
