Job summary

Labcorp in Charlotte, NC seeks a Specimen Processor I to join our team. You will prepare specimens for analysis, label and route them, and enter patient data accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Working 3:30pm-12:30am, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, you will contribute to high-throughput operations and ensure quality standards across the lab workflow. Prior lab or warehouse exposure is helpful, and you should be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

Work Schedule

3:30pm-12:30am Monday-Friday. With rotating Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
