POSITION OBJECTIVEEstablish new and maintain existing relationships with key clients to promote and reach all company annual sales goals

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

·Find new clients to expand customer base by cold calling, networking, & customer/associate referrals

·Make sales calls on weekly basis either in person, phone, or email to both existing and potential customers

·Stay current on all architectural specifications & construction design elements

·Ability to perform all aspects of selling, pricing & closing new projects

·Follow-up on all outstanding Request for Quotes (RFQ) and estimates with customers

·Responsible for solicitation of project documents, information and samples

·Resolve problems, communicate daily with customers, other departments within the organization, manufacturers, and supervisor (if applicable)

·Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up as well as attending company meetings as needed

·Work within a team environment to meet company goals

·Superb customer service, communication (both written and oral), and self-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and business projects

·Good organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities

·Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and multiple cloud-based platforms

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

·Develop and manage the accounts of customers, including driving the Diversified line card products onto their specifications and projects

·Responsible for showcasing all new products into the market: confidently and knowledgeably present new products, highlight their features and benefits, communicate and educate customers and the marketplace on products we represent

·Must demonstrate an exceptional understanding of various aspects of the architectural lighting industry

QUALIFICATIONS

Required education and experience – High School or GED equivalent with t hree (3) years’ experience in lighting industry and/or commercial construction development

Preferred education and experience - Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree, or degree in related field or five (5) years’equivalent industry experience in field

Competency - Goal oriented and results driven, work with minimal supervision, possess excellent public speaking and presentation skills, In depth product knowledge of lighting and lighting systems.Competency in Oasis and other industry related sites and platforms.Maneuvering company’s line-card manufacturers’ sales portals is essential
