Schedule & Compensation:

  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday (9a–7p)
    • Occasional rotating weekends and 3 holiday shifts/year.
  • Compensation: $16–$21/hour, based on experience and skills.
About the Role:
Step into a hands-on, fast-paced environment where you’ll be an essential member of our veterinary team. As a Veterinary Assistant supporting our Internal Medicine and Surgery services, you’ll help deliver top-tier care through hands-on support with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • You’ll work side-by-side with experienced doctors and technicians to ensure every patient receives attentive, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
  • You’ll help create a warm, welcoming environment by maintaining clean, organized exam rooms and treatment areas—making every visit a positive and memorable experience for both pets and their people.
  • You’ll assist with appointments and client communication, delivering clear, compassionate updates and education both in person and over the phone.
  • You’ll take pride in keeping the hospital spotless and fully stocked, ensuring our team can work efficiently and our clients always feel confident in the care we provide.
  • Above all, you’ll be part of a collaborative, compassionate team that values every role—and every individual—who contributes to our mission.
About You:
  • You’re an experienced Veterinary Assistant—or you’re eager to grow your career in veterinary medicine and bring a genuine passion for patient care.
    • You’ve completed a Veterinary Assistant program or certification (preferred, but not required), and hold a high school diploma.
  • You have a solid understanding of basic medical terminology and math, and can think critically to identify problems, gather information, and escalate when needed.
  • You’re a fast learner with a curiosity-driven mindset—always seeking to expand your knowledge and skills.
  • You bring a consistently positive attitude, approachability, and a team-focused mindset to every shift.
  • You’re reliable, punctual, and compassionate—someone others can count on and trust with their patients.
  • You maintain a professional demeanor and communicate clearly and respectfully with both clients and colleagues.
  • You’re proactive and self-motivated, always looking for ways to help and improve the work around you.
