Location: NYC, NY 10024
Employment Type: Temporary contract with possibility of permanent hire

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Every 7th Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our specialty pharmacy team. Reporting to the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), you will oversee pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and smooth operations. Your main focus will be dispensing medications accurately and verifying prescription details according to practitioner instructions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians, students, and support team

• Ensure strict adherence to all professional protocols and policies

• Dispense prescriptions precisely, confirming correct medication quantities

• Manage a high volume workload, processing 800+ prescriptions daily

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist license, current and in good standing

• Experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy environments required

• Must be comfortable handling a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy setting

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods during shifts

Working Conditions:

• Standing and walking frequently required

• Manual dexterity essential for repetitive medication handling tasks
