Responsibilities:
  1. Meet or exceed personal sales goals while providing excellent customer experience.
  2. Answer questions regarding location, price, and merchandise use.
  3. Follow instructions for customer requests while maintaining safety standards.
  4. Analyze reports to make decisions on inventory, merchandise arrangement, and sales trends.
  5. Stock shelves and merchandise, set up advertising and signs to promote sales.
  6. Communicate professionally with vendors and outside sales reps.
  7. Train associates on merchandise use and knowledge.
  8. Prepare and facilitate product knowledge and sales meetings.
  9. Attend weekly sales and training meetings.
  10. Maintain professional appearance and attitude, contribute positively to team, follow policies.
  11. Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals; write reports and correspondence.
  12. Perform basic math operations, understand percentages, measurements, currency.
  13. Effectively present information to customers and team members.
  14. Work varied hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
  15. Promote Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain benefits.
Requirements:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.

Physical & Lifting Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, reach, walk, push/pull, lift (up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, 20 lbs constantly), with or without accommodations.
