Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a dynamic Sales Development and Account Manager to drive growth in the U.S. market, including Phoenix.

You will prospect, qualify, and close new accounts, build a strong regional pipeline, and coordinate with internal teams to promote Heartflow’s AI-driven FFRct and cCTA pathway for cardiology patients. The role emphasizes relationship-building with clinicians and administrators, regional strategy, and measurable pipeline growth.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of healthcare sales experience (medical device or cardiovascular sector preferred).
  • Strong track record of selling new technologies to clinicians and executives.
  • Experience building, managing, and closing a regional sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, engage, and close new accounts across the assigned geography.
  • Build a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand Heartflow’s footprint in primary care and cardiology specialties.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Heartflow’s FFRct and cCTA pathway within key accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships and provide education and solutions for clinical success.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, CT Applications, and others to deliver customer service.

Job Responsibilities
Sales Development
  • Prospect, engage, and close new accounts across the assigned geography.
  • Build a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand Heartflow’s footprint in Primary Care, Holistic, Concierge, and Preventative Cardiology Specialties.
Account Management
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Heartflow’s FFRct and cCTA pathway within key specialty accounts.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships.
  • Proactively provide support, education, and solutions to ensure clinical success and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote Heartflow’s value proposition and foster advocacy across Specialty sites of care (Primary, Holistic, Concierge, Preventative Cardiology) in the territory.
Collaboration
  • Partners with internal colleagues (Marketing, Market Access, CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, Clinical, and Product Development) to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Organize and contribute to educational programs such as dinner events, CT pathway workshops, VIP visits, and referring physician meetings, market strategy.
  • Collect and share “voice of customer” insights and product development and market strategy, unique to the Primary Care, Holistic, Concierge, and Preventative Cardiology Specialties.
Targets & Performance
  • Meet or exceed territory sales and adoption targets.
  • Deliver measurable growth in cCTA usage and FFRct penetration across accounts in assigned geography.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account plans via Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
Skills Needed
  • Proven track record of sales success in healthcare, ideally in cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, or radiology.
  • Strong experience introducing and growing adoption of new technologies.
  • Ability to develop and support clinical programs and pathways.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to explain complex technologies to clinicians and
  • decision-makers.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills with clinical, administrative, and executive
  • stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Problem‑solving ability and resilience under pressure.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Educational Requirements & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing or Technical field is preferred.
  • 5-8 years’ healthcare sales experience, ideally within the medical device or cardiovascular sector.

The base salary is $135,000 plus variable/commission. The total target compensation for this role is $275,000, however there is no cap on variable pay. #LI-KS1
