Specialty Sales Consultant - Santa Barbara Territory (Remote)

Join to apply for the Specialty Sales Consultant - Santa Barbara Territory (Remote) role at Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

This position involves the promotion of Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and managing relationships with healthcare professionals in the assigned territory. The role reports to a Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Sleep Business Unit.

Responsibilities include:
  • Educating healthcare professionals about Jazz products and indications.
  • Achieving sales goals and KPIs.
  • Organizing and facilitating medical and product meetings.
  • Analyzing territory business and prescribing patterns.
  • Utilizing resources to educate and influence healthcare providers.
  • Navigating prescription flow from REMS forms to insurance to patients.
  • Developing and executing territory plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Collaborating with MSL, Managed Market, and Reimbursement teams.
  • Representing Jazz Pharmaceuticals professionally and ethically.
  • Complying with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Managing activities within budget and reporting accordingly.
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Preferred experience with specialist sales (neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry, sleep).
  • Existing relationships with hospitals, labs, and specialists preferred.
  • Knowledge of sleep and CNS therapeutic areas is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
  • Four-year college degree required; post-graduate training preferred.
Physical and Work Environment:
  • Frequent travel within the territory.
  • Use of office equipment and carrying materials for sales calls.
  • Interactions mainly in office and healthcare settings, with some outside work hours.

Jazz is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation range for US-based candidates is $116,800 - $175,200, with potential bonuses and benefits.
