Specialty Sales Consultant Philadelphia (Remote)

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is a global biopharma company dedicated to developing medicines for serious diseases with limited or no therapeutic options. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, we have a diverse portfolio including therapies for sleep disorders, epilepsy, and cancer. Our patient-focused approach drives our research and development in oncology and neuroscience.

The Specialty Sales Consultant Neuroscience role involves promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products, building relationships with therapeutic specialists within a designated territory, and implementing marketing strategies to meet sales goals. This position reports to a Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Sleep Business Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Educate healthcare professionals about our products and indications.
  • Achieve sales goals and KPIs.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings adhering to policies and regulations.
  • Analyze territory business to understand prescribing and decision-making processes.
  • Utilize resources to educate and influence HCPs and staff.
  • Assist offices with prescription flow, REMS forms, and insurance criteria.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Work with partner teams to meet the needs of physicians and patients.
  • Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals professionally and ethically.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage activities within budget and report accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Preferably two years in specialist sales (neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry, sleep).
  • Existing relationships with hospitals, labs, and specialists preferred.
  • Experience with hospital/Account-based sales and account navigation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sleep and CNS therapeutics preferred.
  • Experience with REMS, hub, or central pharmacy helpful.
  • Strong understanding of product, competition, and disease states.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated team player.
Education & Licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Post-graduate training preferred.
Physical and Work Environment
  • Frequent travel required, including driving, flights, and overnight stays.
  • Operate office equipment regularly.
  • Carry materials for sales calls.
  • Interact with external contacts in various environments.
  • Work may include outside of normal hours and public contact requiring appropriate attire.

Jazz is an equal opportunity employer. For US-based candidates, the full pay range is $116,800 - $175,200, dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
