Overview

The Specialty Sales Consultant Neuroscience promotes Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and manages relationships with therapeutic specialists in an assigned territory. This role reports to a Regional Sales Manager and is part of the commercial team within The Sleep Business Unit.

Must Have Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
  • Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz products
  • Achieve sales goals and KPIs
  • Organize and facilitate medical and product meetings
  • Analyze territory business to understand prescribing patterns
  • Utilize resources to educate and influence healthcare providers
  • Navigate prescription flow, including REMS forms and insurance criteria
  • Develop and execute territory plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers
  • Work with teams such as MSL, Managed Market, and Reimbursement
  • Present a professional image aligned with company policies
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Manage activities within budget and report accordingly
Qualifications
  • Existing relationships with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists, and sleep specialists preferred
  • Experience with hospital/Account based sales and account navigation preferred
  • Sleep and CNS therapeutic sales experience preferred
  • Experience in specialty or orphan/rare disease sales beneficial
  • REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience helpful
  • Buy and Bill experience advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; post-graduate training preferred
  • Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience; two years in specialty sales preferred
  • Strong knowledge of products, disease states, and payer landscape desired
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated team player
Physical Demands
  • Frequent travel, including driving, flights, and overnight stays
  • Operate office equipment regularly
  • Carry materials for sales activities
Work Environment
  • Interact with external contacts in office settings with minimal environmental hazards
  • Use of laptops and tablets in various settings
  • Work hours may extend beyond normal schedule
  • Maintain professional appearance in public interactions
